Shropshire born and raised, Dan first worked in radio aged 18 at Beacon Radio (now Free Radio) as a street team member. Fast forward 10 years he’s a Senior Sound Designer for Capital, the UK’s biggest commercial CHR brand, plus an Imaging Director working on the Rhythmic Library at Benztown. He learned to play piano from age 6 and drums age 10, so musical theory is baked into his craft and sound. From producing live show openers for Capital’s Summertime Ball (80,000 Capital Listeners in London’s Wembley Stadium) to working on huge radio campaigns reaching 8 million weekly listeners – Dan’s had the privilege of helping to craft and progress the sound of the UK’s number one hit music station.
