Mark began his career in the music industry as a Product Manager at Bad Boy/Arista Records specializing in artist relations. His next position would be again working as a Product Manager at Ruff Ryders/Interscope Records. After years of marketing artists like The Notorious B.I.G., Mase, Diddy, and DMX he made the transition to radio. On a chance trip to Los Angeles to support a close friend’s movie premier he took a meeting at Westwood One in Valencia. Based in New York he rose through the WW1 ranks to Vice President of Affiliate Sales overseeing all the CHR, Urban, and Latin prep services and programs. He was charged with growing products like The MTV Weekend Countdown, Perez Hilton, Wendy Williams, Billy Bush, Randy Jackson, BET’s 106 & Park Radio, etc. After Westwood One he distributed radio products like Open House Party, Baka Boyz, Cafe Mocha, to name a few. From there he ventured into Radio Advertising Sales at CBS New York concentrating primarily on their Top 40 station initiative. While working as an AE at CBS, he saw former Westwood One talent, R Dub on the NBC television show, “Shark Tank” with famed singer, Brian McKnight looking for an Affiliate Sales Executive to grow his SNSJ station base. One phone call led to Mark distributing Sunday Night Slow Jams since 2014. The show is now offered in Top 40, Rhythmic, Throwback, Hot AC versions and airs in over 200 markets in every region of the country. In addition Mark distributes Benztown syndicated shows and imaging products like Hot Mix which is available in Mainstream or Crossover versions, Top 10 Now And Then, along with the CHR, Clique, Speaker Toyz AC, Speaker Toyz, and Rhythmic Libraries.
