Benztown and Yacht Rock Radio Announce New Partnership

Hosted by Captain Adam, the weekly program continues to resonate with listeners of all ages as it charts its next course for growth.

Benztown and Yacht Rock Radio are launching off the docks together through a new syndication partnership, bringing the smooth sounds of the late ’70s and early ’80s to even more listeners across the country.

Hosted by radio and television veteran Captain Adam, Yacht Rock Radio has experienced significant growth in 2026, adding 20 new affiliates and expanding its reach to more than 122 stations nationwide including KKDJ-FM, KDRF-FM, and WOLX-FM. The two-hour weekly program is available through Benztown on both a cash and barter basis.

Perfect for Classic Hits, AC, Light Rock, Soft Rock, Oldies, and Variety formats, Yacht Rock Radio combines timeless hits, artist interviews, engaging storytelling, and current pop culture that transports listeners back to an era of laid-back living and unforgettable music, all from the top deck of the Yacht that Rocks! Michael McDonald, Toto, Steely Dan, Christopher Cross, and Boz Scaggs… is the tip of the cruise ship!

Today, Yacht Rock remains a favorite among multiple generations of listeners, bringing together longtime fans and younger audiences discovering the format for the first time.

In addition, he has been commissioned to be the on board host and emcee for “The Yacht Rock Cruise” sailing on Celebrity Cruise Lines in September of 2027. His passion for the music, coupled with his decades of broadcasting experience, has made him a trusted and beloved voice among fans and the original artists themselves.
