Fiver Friday #533: Atmospheric sound, AI Music, old school, &…
Week done, weekend incoming. Here’s five things I dug up in the interwebs…
1. Plugin
Karanyi Sounds just dropped Cloudmax 3 and it’s legitimately impressive. Granular texture engine paired with a tuned modal resonator — you get all that shimmer and smear but with real musical depth underneath it. The rebuilt reverb section alone makes it worth it. Intro price $59, limited time. If you do atmospheric or cinematic sound design, check this out.

2. Inspiration
“There is no innovation and creativity without failure. Period.” — Brené Brown
3. Music
Old school baby!
4. Web/Social/Whatever
Native Instruments got acquired by InMusic, the Akai, Moog and Denon people. They also dropped Komplete 26 the same week. Audio world is shifting.
