BENZTOWN INKS DEAL WITH KKGO-FM/LOS ANGELES
SEPTEMBER 9, 2014, LOS ANGELES, CA— Benztown, a global leader in radio imaging, voiceover, programming and jingles, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive agreement with KKGO-FM, Go Country 105, to provide comprehensive imaging and voiceover services to the iconic Los Angeles station. Under the terms of the agreement, KKGO-FM gets full access and market exclusive license to the Benztown Country Production/Imaging Library. KKGO will become the flagship station for the Benztown Country Production/Imaging Library, with all pre-produced shellable elements (sweepers, promos, brandings) in the library that reflect the station’s likeness and positioners. KKGO-FM will also regularly communicate with Benztown format captains to create shells pertaining specifically to KKGO-FM content, events, and promotions. Benztown will follow the station’s weekly adds for use in creating branded song intros. Benztown will also provide KKGO-FM with Custom Imaging Production from Benztown, with Imaging Voice Over from Neil Wilson and Commercial Voice Over from Benztown’s Commercial Voice Over Roster. KKGO-FM is currently run by Mt. Wilson DM Broadcasters, Inc., the only independently owned-and-operated FM radio station licensed to Los Angeles.
