BENZTOWN PROMOTES MASA PATTERSON TO VP, SALES & OPERATIONS

Benztown Radio Networks announced today that Masa Patterson has been promoted to Vice President, Sales & Operations, for the Burbank-based international radio imaging, production library, programming, jingle and voiceover services company with over 1,900 affiliations on six different continents. Patterson was previously Director of Affiliate Relations/Operations Manager for Benztown, a post he has held since 2009.

Dave “Chachi” Denes, President of Benztown, said: “Masa Patterson has been an integral part of the tremendous growth and success of our company, products and services. He has led the development of our affiliate roster over a critical period in our company’s growth, and he has effectively promoted Benztown’s 20 imaging libraries, our growing catalog of syndicated programs, and our premier imaging, jingle and voiceover services. His knowledge of our business and the relationships he has with people across the industry make Masa an incredible resource for Benztown and for our customers and partners.”

Patterson said: “Benztown is a one-of-a-kind company that’s focused on providing top shelf content for our partners and clients, and it’s an honor to lead our affiliate growth. I’m proud of the culture we’ve created, and grateful to be working with Chachi Denes, Andreas Sannemann, Oliver Klenk and the rest of the talented Benztown family.”

Patterson began his radio career in 2006, writing and editing sports updates for KNX 1070 News Radio in Los Angeles. He moved to Premiere Radio Networks in 2007, where he served on Premiere’s affiliate relations team. Patterson joined Benztown in 2009, overseeing general operations and affiliate relations efforts for all of Benztown’s offerings. He has captained the growth of the Benztown affiliate roster to over 1900 stations in just four years and continues to expand Benztown’s reach.
