BENZTOWN RENEWS CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIP WITH DAWSON MCALLISTER PRODUCTIONS

Benztown, an international radio imaging, production library, programming, and voiceover services company recently named by Inc. magazine as one of America’s Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies, announced today that it has renewed its support of Dawson McAllister Productions for 2014. This is the third year that Benztown has donated on a monthly basis dozens of fully produced imaging pieces, and access to its CHR and Country imaging libraries. Last year, with the support of Benztown and other charitable partners, Dawson McAllister Productions, through its nationally syndicated radio show Dawson McAllister Live! and off-air call center TheHopeLine, was able to intervene on behalf of 3,033 suicidal teens and young adults and helped rescue them from despair.

Dave “Chachi” Denes, President of Benztown, said: “We are proud to continue our relationship with Dawson McAllister, Jessica McVay, Weston Crafton, and the talented team at Dawson McAllister Productions. The mission of this non-profit organization is an important one, and the imaging of the station is a critical link to teens and young adults. Together, DM Live! and TheHopeLine have helped prevent thousands of teen and young adult suicides each year. It is important to our team at Benztown to contribute outstanding audio imaging and production to connect with those teens and young adults in an authentic and powerful way.”

Weston Crafton, Executive Producer, “Dawson McAllister & The Tribe” and Dawson 24-7 Internet Radio Network, said: “Benztown is radio’s most creative team of audio production and imaging professionals, and their support and imaging products have been incredible gifts to our show and to our listeners. We think the show has a compelling sound and a distinctive audio brand that has been more fully defined and strengthened by Benztown imaging. We’re excited to have them aboard for another year of serving teens and young adults in crisis.”

About Dawson McAllister Productions

Dawson McAllister is recognized internationally as a gifted youth communicator. During his 35-year career, he has spoken to millions of teenagers and young adults through television, student conferences, and radio. Dawson also succeeded as an author by publishing nearly 20 titles resulting in over one million copies in print. He began his national radio show in the early ‘90’s on various Christian radio stations. Starting with only five stations, his call-in talk show, Dawson McAllister Live! (DMLive) grew to be broadcast nationwide, and in 1994 was voted National Religious Broadcaster’s Talk Show of the Year. Shortly after the start of DMLive on radio, it became painfully clear that radio alone was not enough. Compelled by the burgeoning need of hurting young callers, Dawson created TheHopeLine — an off-air call center where one-on-one conversations might truly effect change in the lives of the callers.

In 2005 he made the decision to transition to mainstream radio in an effort to help a larger audience of teens and young adults. Dawson is currently heard on over 60 stations throughout the United States and Canada. Also, today, the radio audience is over 200,000 each week, while TheHopeLine is connecting with thousands each month through phones, chats, and text messages.

Dawson McAllister is a graduate of Bethel College in St. Paul, MN and completed his studies at Talbot Theological Seminary. He holds an honorary doctorate degree from Biola University, and is recognized as one of today’s foremost experts on youth issues.
