TODD-N-TYLER ELECTED TO HALL OF FAME
(Omaha Nebraska, 02/05/2020) KEZO (Z-92, the Rock Station) announces the election of 26-year Omaha morning show, Todd-N-Tyler into the Nebraska Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
Every year, the Nebraska Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame Committee gathers to elect deserving candidates into the Nebraska Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Jim Timm, President and Executive Director stopped by the Z-92 studio Wednesday morning to announce Todd-N-Tyler’s election.
Todd Brandt and Mike Tyler met at WHTF in Pennsylvania, and eight months later, in August of 1993, came to Omaha, Nebraska to create what is now known as the “Todd-N-Tyler Radio Empire.” Todd and Tyler, along with morning-show producer Big P and news guy Craig Evans, have been dominating and entertaining morning show audiences for over 26 years with their honest conversations about everything from relationships, pop culture, and sports, to the big news of the day. During their tenure on KEZO, “TNT” has earned unprecedented rating success. Since 2001 they have ranked #1 over 70 times in the Adult’s (25-54) and Men’s (25-54) demographics. In 2006, Todd-N-Tyler established a regional and national syndication network, and they have dedicated countless hours to raise money and awareness for community charities and research funds. In recent years, the “Todd- n-Tyler Radio Empire” has been at the forefront of digital podcasting, now averaging over 700,000 downloads per month of their show.
After receiving the news, Todd Brandt remarked, “This is an honor we would have never expected but are extremely proud to accept.” Mike Tyler added, “It’s great to be recognized for years of hard work and longevity, and we are honored by this election.”
