Charese Fruge is a Louisiana native with over 20 years of experience in the radio and Voice Imaging businesses, most recently as a Voice Actor and Voice Over talent in the Nashville, New York and Las Vegas areas and the Vice President of Programming for what is now the 6 station Entercom cluster in Houston.
Before that she was the Vice President of Programming for CBS Radio Las Vegas and Program Director of Mix 94.1, KMXB and X107.5, KXTE. Fruge has also enjoyed success as a Program Director, Regional Programmer on-air talent and Voice Over artist in markets like Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Denver and Sacramento.
She is a member of the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame and in 2012 was honored with the Genii Award for “Excellence in Management” by the Alliance for Women in Media’s Southern California Chapter. She was also recognized as one of Radio Ink’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” 4 years in a row and is a regular contributor to Billboard Magazine and Rolling Stone, as well as an Editor and Columnist for All Access Music Group.
