Hi, I’m Mike Crank. I began my career in radio in 1995 at KCXX X-103.9 in my hometown of Riverside, CA. I pursued my radio career across the United States working in cities like Las Vegas, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Denver, and Los Angeles. I have worked at CBS Radio in LA since 2001 when I began as the Commercial Production guy at KROQ. I soon was promoted to Creative Director at KROQ, and then, in 2008, became the Creative Director at 93-1 Jack FM (KCBS). I have also been the voice of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA Drag Racing) since 2002. My voice has been described as Gritty, Tough, Believable, Real, Sincere, Strong, and Engaging . Throughout my years in radio, I have voiced hundreds of commercials and promos. You can check out more at www.mikecrank.com….or not. My wife Krista and I were married in 2000. And, after much traveling, career-building, and vacationing; in 2010 our son Ethan was born. He also loves talking on a microphone, by the way! I ride mountain bikes, play the drums, go swimming with my son, play guitar badly, and am a sushitarian (that means I’m a vegetarian except when I get the chance to eat good sushi).
