You choose: Neumann TLM 103 vs Sennheiser MKH-416

We get all kinds of visitors here at our Burbank studios. And it’s not uncommon that a guest will need to jump into a studio really quick to cut some voice-over for their clients. Benztown is all about hospitality, so we’re building a small dedicated voice-over booth into one of our studios. This will allow our guests to work to their heart’s content, uninterrupted by our normal studio operations.

So…it’s all about the mic, right? Maybe not ALL, but everyone knows how crucial the right microphone is to any VO booth. We’ve narrowed the choices down to 2 mics, and – just out of curiosity – which one would YOU choose?
