Ever wondered how to recreate footstep or foley sounds without even recording anything? For an answer to that question check out day 15 of our 24 Days Of Xmas! Enter Edward Foleyart!
Today we showcase a great sound design plugin called “Edward Foleyart Instrument” by Tovusound. It’s an NKS instrument which works inside the free Kontakt 5 Player. It comes along with 6 different types of shoes and loads of undergrounds, the footsteps can be triggered via MIDI. It also features a pitch control, a reverb, a simple EQ and attack and sustain control, so you can definitely dig deep and create exactly the sounds you need! Combine this with different types of footsteps (slow, fast, creep, walk etc) and you’re good to go! Simple to use and good results – what else do you want?
