UA powered SSL Compressor vs Waves SSL…Can you hear the difference? |

Lately I see more and more people use UA powered plugIns and after I was on the german Musikmesse and played around with it, I was totally convinced of the quality and became a huge fan. Check the audio below…

While working on a track with Shane we developed the idea to showcase the difference in sound between the Waves SSL and the UA powered one – to me it was a massive difference.
As the fully loaded UA package is not cheap the question is : Would it be worth spending the approximately 6000US $?

What do you think? I am impressed….but not sure!
