Video tutorial… It is getting mean and dirty!
Many stations are on the look for the most polished sound possible. BUT, some Imaging pieces need to sound dirty, rough and edgy. I created a Lollapalooza Promo for our CHR library and used a plugIN from the Sound Toy Family, I never used before and it made the VO unbelievable dirty and rough. Love that…You can emulate that kind of sound also with AMPs (like Sans Amp, AMP Farm or Guitar Rig), Hard Filters and EQs. Adding Flanging, LoFI or SciFi to it makes it even more edgy.
